Front End Engineer
About the Role
You will build and improve the website, client-facing web portal, and internal web apps. You will structure and design webpages, implement UI enhancements, and optimize pages for speed and scalability. You will assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting, maintain brand-consistent designs, and act as a thought leader and mentor to raise product quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in the fintech space
- Professional experience in JavaScript
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript
- Deep proficiency in React
- Familiarity with backend programming in Go
- Solid understanding of key design principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Humble and scrappy get-it-done mindset
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to independently formulate and test hypotheses
