Full-stack Engineer
About the Role
You will build and maintain core systems that power products and customer experiences. You will work across the stack to design and implement APIs, backend services, and user-facing applications; develop and maintain financial and transactional workflows including subscriptions, payments, and usage-based systems; ensure data integrity and reliability; participate in on-call rotations; and take ownership of projects from design to production.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills strong written and spoken English
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years building and maintaining production systems ideally involving financial data billing or payments
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern language such as TypeScript JavaScript Java Python Scala Ruby or similar
- Familiarity with payment systems such as Stripe is a strong plus
- Prior exposure to blockchain crypto payments wallets smart contracts or web3 infrastructure is a strong plus but not required
- Product-oriented mindset with ability to balance technical quality and business impact
Responsibilities
- Write high-quality code that is correct secure performant and maintainable
- Design and build backend and frontend systems including APIs services and user-facing applications
- Develop and maintain financial and transactional workflows such as subscriptions payments and usage-based systems
- Ensure data integrity and reliability by designing and maintaining accurate transaction balance and usage tracking
- Collaborate on system architecture and produce architecture and design documentation
- Own projects end to end from initial design to production deployment and iteration
- Participate in paid on-call rotations
- Mentor and support teammates and help onboard new engineers
