Full Stack Engineer, Reporting Systems - Contract 6mo
About the Role
You will design and build end-to-end systems that ingest, normalize, store, and expose crypto-asset data. You will create secure REST and GraphQL APIs, optimize data pipelines for low latency and reliability, and develop intuitive dashboards and visualizations using React and TypeScript. You will integrate on-chain and off-chain sources, write performant queries, and apply security and privacy best practices while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science Data Science or related field
- 3–5 years of professional full-stack engineering experience
- Backend proficiency with Go Node.js or Python
- Frontend expertise with React and TypeScript
- Proven experience designing building and consuming APIs at scale
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Postgres BigQuery or similar
- Experience with NoSQL databases and database performance tuning
- Experience visualizing data using D3 Recharts or Plotly
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals on-chain transactions smart contract events and DeFi protocols
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and iterating quickly
Responsibilities
- Design and implement REST and GraphQL endpoints
- Secure API endpoints and enforce data privacy principles
- Automate ingestion of data from exchanges DeFi protocols custodians and OTC counterparties
- Normalize diverse crypto data types such as trades transfers vesting events and price feeds
- Optimize data pipelines for reliability low latency and secure transmission
- Manage relational and NoSQL databases and fine-tune indexing and partitioning strategies
- Write performant queries to power real-time dashboards and analytics
- Build and maintain accounting dashboards using React and TypeScript
- Translate complex datasets into visualizations tables charts and KPIs
- Follow best practices in state management testing and accessibility
- Integrate internal microservices third-party APIs and on-chain data sources
- Extend or maintain low-code tooling such as Retool to accelerate delivery
- Document APIs data models and UI components to support handoffs
- Participate in code reviews contribute to threat modeling and secure architecture
