About the Role
You will apply your technical or research skills to projects across engineering, protocol research, AI and product efforts in Web3. You will build or support open‑source software and infrastructure, conduct research (protocols, ZK, cryptography, DeFi), and communicate results clearly to distributed teams. You will collaborate asynchronously, take ownership of problems, and adapt to evolving priorities.
Requirements
- Background in engineering, computer science, mathematics, cryptography, finance, or AI/ML
- Hands on experience building or supporting Web3 products, DeFi or Layer 1/Layer 2 infrastructure
- Experience or interest in protocol design, ZK systems, applied cryptography, MEV, or governance mechanisms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across distributed asynchronous teams
- Proactive mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Passion for Ethereum and open source software
Responsibilities
- Contribute to engineering and research projects in Web3
- Build and maintain open source software and infrastructure
- Conduct research on protocol design, ZK systems, and applied cryptography
- Analyze DeFi, MEV, governance and tokenomics problems
- Document and communicate technical findings to distributed teams
