General Manager – Operations
About the Role
You will lead end-to-end operational execution across supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and last-mile delivery. You will implement SOPs and digital processes, ensure quality and FSSAI compliance, manage inventory accuracy, optimize routing and costs, mentor regional managers and warehouse teams, and coordinate with farmers, processors, logistics partners, and retail/HORECA clients.
Requirements
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Operations, Supply Chain, Agri-Business, Food Technology, or related field
- 10–20 years of experience in FMCG, food distribution, cold-chain logistics, or last-mile delivery
- Proven experience managing multi-location operations and large teams
- Experience with digital operations and ERP systems (experience with AIMS is a plus)
- Strong background in quality management, compliance, and KPI-driven team leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale multi-city operations, distribution hubs, and logistics networks
- Oversee procurement, processing, packaging, cold-chain management, and home-delivery operations
- Establish SOPs and ensure 100% digital operations through the ERP/AIMS platform
- Maintain quality, hygiene, and FSSAI compliance across operations
- Manage inventory accuracy, demand forecasting, and routing optimization
- Drive operational cost efficiency and vendor management
- Build, mentor, and monitor regional managers, warehouse teams, and delivery supervisors
- Coordinate with farmers, processors, logistics partners, and retail/HORECA clients to ensure seamless value-chain flow
