About the Role

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of significant event planning experience
• Ownership of complex events from conception to completion
• Management of both small and large-scale multi-day events
• Comfortable working off-hours, being on-call, and adapting to flexible schedules
• Ability to be onsite and serve as point of contact with up to 30% travel
• Experience running events across multiple geographic locations and time zones
• Exceptional time management, communication, project management, and prioritization
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure
• Knowledge of fabrication, event technology, AV production, and digital integration
• Preferred: experience building events within the Web3 or crypto industry
• Preferred: experience working in fast-paced startup environments

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for long-term recurring and scalable events
• Plan and execute hosted and sponsored events from small gatherings to large conferences
• Define event goals, OKRs, and success metrics and conduct data-driven postmortems
• Establish and manage event budgets and timelines
• Negotiate vendor contracts and manage financial reconciliation post-event
• Manage relationships with vendors, agencies, and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to deliver event experiences
• Assess and adapt to regional cultural and venue-specific requirements
• Develop and maintain operational standards and event playbooks
• Maintain high quality across event planning, production, and execution
• Drive event workstreams to completion and make resourceful decisions under pressure
