About the Role

Requirements

• Experience on a compliance team focused on process improvement, issue management, and regulatory examination readiness
• Expertise in AML sanctions and fraud compliance workflows
• Strong cross-functional program management and technical project coordination skills
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements, documentation standards, audit and exam processes, and compliance tooling
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex compliance and technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with AML monitoring systems sanctions screening tools and case management solutions (nice to have)
• Background in regulated cryptocurrency blockchain technology or FinTech companies (nice to have)
• Experience with SQL within modern data warehouse environments such as Snowflake and Looker (nice to have)
• Experience with Python for data analysis automation and building scalable applications (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cross-functional compliance enhancement and remediation initiatives
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable plans and technical solutions
• Manage remediation efforts and regulatory compliance outcomes with documented results
• Identify operational inefficiencies and improve processes and controls
• Apply critical thinking to evaluate compliance solutions and remediation approaches
• Drive stakeholder accountability and ensure timely delivery of responsibilities
• Anticipate emerging risks and escalate with mitigation strategies
• Establish and uphold documentation practices to support governance and audit readiness
• Utilize data analysis tools such as SQL and Looker to validate and test compliance processes
