Graduate Algorithmic Trader
About the Role
You will complete a short training period and then improve existing strategies, add new trading products and enhance the technology behind trading systems. You will analyze large volumes of trading and transaction data, generate insights, prioritize work and build solutions. You will develop and implement trading algorithms, write production-quality Python code, and take ownership of results that impact P&L. Expect to work non-standard hours when markets demand it and collaborate closely with traders and developers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years coding experience in Python via work, study or personal projects
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong willingness to learn algorithmic, high-frequency and liquidity provision trading
- Trading intuition and willingness to be tested on trading skills
- Owner mentality focused on long-term P&L
- Strong problem-solving and product delivery orientation
- Determined, ambitious and humble; willing to work non-standard hours
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
