Hardware Assembly Technician
About the Role
You will prepare parts, tools, and equipment (including heat sinks) for repairs and maintain inventory and documentation. You will disassemble miners, remove hashboards, apply thermal paste, and track repairs using the work order system. You will record and scan incoming shipments, coordinate inventory movement with pallet jacks, and maintain the physical repair shop. The role may require travel between job sites and operation of a company vehicle and involves lifting 50–75 lb.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience
- High school diploma
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documenting work and communicating
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Able to lift 50-75 lb
- Ability to operate a company vehicle and travel between job sites and be insurable under company vehicle insurance policy
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts tools and equipment including heat sinks for repairs
- Maintain inventory levels and keep equipment and tools in good condition
- Maintain documentation and track repairs using the work order system
- Maintain the physical environment of the hardware repair shop
- Record and scan incoming inventory shipments
- Coordinate movement of inventory via pallet jacks
