Hardware Repair Technician
About the Role
You will provide comprehensive maintenance and diagnostic services for bitcoin mining machines. You will repair control boards, hash cards, and perform chip level repairs. You will read schematics and blueprints, identify and fix faults quickly, ensure environmental and safety standards are met, support integration of new equipment, and travel between sites as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years technician experience in an industrial or commercial environment
- Familiarity with Antminer Series 17 and 19 equipment is a plus
- Bitman repair certification is a plus
- Background in troubleshooting electrical functionality is a plus
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs
- Be insurable under company vehicle insurance policy
Responsibilities
- Repair bitcoin mining equipment including control boards and hash cards
- Perform chip level repairs
- Ensure environmental and safety standards are consistently met
- Read blueprints and schematics and assess working order
- Support integration of new equipment and systems into facility infrastructure
- Travel between sites and operate company vehicle as required
