Head of Business Development and Growth

About the Role

You will build and manage strategic partnerships across DeFi and the broader blockchain space. You will identify, engage, and close partnership deals, represent the product at industry events, and collaborate with product, marketing, and technology teams to align integrations. You will monitor market and regulatory trends and translate partner feedback into product improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent English proficiency
  • Strong product sense and ability to understand and communicate technical details
  • Established network within the blockchain and DeFi communities
  • Proven track record of successfully closing partnership deals and driving ecosystem growth
  • Experience in growth hacking and growth strategies
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Crypto native or DeFi player is a plus
  • Startup experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the ecosystem through partnerships
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with partners, projects, and stakeholders in DeFi and blockchain
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology to align partnership strategies with business objectives
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetups to promote the platform and expand the network
  • Identify product enhancement opportunities based on partner and market feedback
