Head of Business Development
About the Role
You will initiate engagement with targeted accounts and lead opportunity development. You will manage complex B2B sales cycles from first lead to close, position and sell products and services, and align opportunities to meet business and financial objectives. You will establish partnerships with purchasing decision makers, executive sponsors, coaches, influencers, and third parties, present and communicate at the executive level, lead designated project teams, and focus on customers' needs and pain points. Be prepared to travel internationally frequently, be hands-on in a startup environment, and actively promote blockchain technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business/Marketing or related fields preferred
- 10+ years of business development or sales leadership experience
- Minimum of 7 years professional business development, sales, sales management or system integration sales experience in software or technology solutions
- Experience selling to telecom and/or fintech industries
- Strong knowledge in telecom and network products and services
- Proven sales experience in the telecom or fintech sectors; OSS and BSS experience is a plus
- Ability to communicate and present at the executive level
- Established relationships with executives (VP, C-level)
- Proven experience running long, complex B2B sales cycles and closing large complex deals
- Passion for learning and promoting blockchain technology
- Willingness to travel internationally frequently
- Willingness to be hands-on in a startup environment
