About the Role

You will maintain and expand the MiCA license, monitor regulatory developments, and act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies. You will serve as the designated TRACFIN correspondent, oversee AML/CFT controls, and report suspicious transactions. You will develop and implement compliance policies and run compliance risk assessments. You will monitor transactions for illicit activity, coordinate audits and investigations, prepare compliance reports, and advise leadership on regulatory impacts. You will build, manage, and develop a team of AML, KYC, and compliance analysts, and deliver training to ensure staff understand regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years in a compliance role within fintech or financial services in the EU
  • Proven experience managing DASP, MiCA, or similar financial licenses
  • Strong understanding of the French regulatory environment including TRACFIN, AMF, and ACPR
  • Familiarity with EU regulations such as MiCA
  • Solid understanding of the Bitcoin ecosystem or strong willingness to learn
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or compliance certification a plus)
  • Based in France or willing to relocate to France
  • Fluency in French and English; German is a plus
  • Strong analytical and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

  • Coordinate compliance audits, investigate breaches, and implement corrective actions
  • Advise leadership on compliance and regulatory matters
