Head of Credit Capital Markets
About the Role
You will establish and run a credit desk, defining and executing the firm’s debt capital markets strategy across institutional credit and on-chain lend/borrow. You will underwrite borrowers across fiat, crypto, and stablecoins, review loan tapes and legal structures, and assess collateral enforceability. You will design and operate credit risk frameworks, monitor key risk indicators and smart contract vulnerabilities, and build internal stress-testing models. You will research evolving credit and DeFi market structures, collaborate closely with trading, treasury, risk and legal, and represent the credit business externally with counterparties, protocols and liquidity providers.
Requirements
- 6+ years in repo trading prime brokerage structured finance or fixed income
- Deep understanding of cost of funding collateral haircuts rehypothecation risks and ISDA/credit terms
- Proven senior management experience running a credit desk
- Proficiency in Python for data queries automation and backtesting
- Experience with margin management and liquidation prevention during high volatility
- Knowledge of RWA legal structures and bridging off-chain assets on-chain
- Preferred ability to read Solidity and review smart contracts
- Preferred knowledge of DeFi lending mechanics including AMMs utilization curves and liquidation logic
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a cohesive credit strategy

- Review loan tapes and evaluate legal structures and SPVs
- Assess collateral quality enforceability and optimization
- Design and oversee credit risk frameworks and exposure limits
- Monitor risk indicators including smart contract vulnerabilities
- Develop internal stress-testing models
- Establish credit policies governance and capital allocation standards
- Conduct market research on institutional and on-chain credit markets
- Collaborate with trading treasury risk and legal teams
- Manage external relationships with institutions borrowers protocols and liquidity providers
