Head of Engineering
About the Role
You will lead and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration and accountability. You will ensure technical quality, product stability and continuous evolution of systems built mainly with Python Django and React. You will make metrics and processes visible and measurable, align engineering outcomes with product and business goals, and participate actively in shaping the company's technology strategy. You will ensure infrastructure and services scale efficiently, promote adoption of emerging technologies especially AI and blockchain, drive sustainable development practices and represent engineering in strategic meetings.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams in dynamic growth environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and Django
- Strong proficiency in React
- Experience with software architecture and best practices
- Experience with scalable infrastructure and distributed services
- Ability to design and execute technical development strategies aligned with product goals
- Strong communication, influence and decision making skills
- Data driven mindset and focus on performance metrics
- Experience in blockchain environments or strong interest in building blockchain products
- Knowledge of React Native or mobile development (desirable)
- Interest in AI, automation and technological innovation
