Head of Finance
About the Role
You will lead financial strategy, forecasting, burn-rate management, and accounting. You will manage treasury, budgeting, tax, audits, and banking relationships; build FP&A and accounting functions; develop ROI frameworks for grants and investments; partner with Legal on token and treasury initiatives; and mentor a multidisciplinary finance team.
Requirements
- 10+ years in finance, including leadership in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance
- Proven experience building or scaling finance functions at high-growth tech, fintech, or crypto organizations
- Expertise in financial modeling, planning, and reporting
- Experience working across entities and collaborating with Legal, Product, and Operations
- Systems thinking with ability to balance rigor and adaptability
- Experience in crypto financial management (nice to have)
- Familiarity with dual-entity or hybrid structures (Labs + Foundation setups) (nice to have)
Responsibilities

- Manage treasury, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Build and oversee FP&A, accounting, and tax functions
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling with Product, Legal, and Operations
- Develop frameworks to evaluate ROI on grants, partnerships, and investments
- Manage relationships with banks, custody providers, and auditors
- Ensure financial compliance, audits, and tax reporting
- Collaborate with Legal on treasury and token initiatives and tax compliance
- Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary finance team
