Head of IT and Cybersecurity
About the Role
You will lead the development and execution of IT strategy, ensuring infrastructure and applications reliably support business needs. You will oversee daily IT operations, manage cybersecurity programs, and drive compliance and audit readiness. You will mentor and grow the IT and security team, manage vendors, and prioritize IT projects to deliver reliable secure services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure software development cloud services and cybersecurity
- Proven experience with IT budgeting and vendor negotiation
- Experience managing ERP customer billing email messaging ITSM telephony and contract management platforms
- Experience with platform integrations APIs single source of truth and testing and acceptance methodologies
- Experience leading managing or supporting IT audits including third party audits
- Excellent leadership team management analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic IT plans
- Evaluate and adopt IT innovations and solutions
- Define IT architecture roadmaps and vision
- Oversee IT infrastructure management to ensure performance reliability and security
- Ensure IT systems and applications comply with laws regulations and industry standards
- Provide employee PC and computing support and manage SaaS solutions
- Develop and monitor IT operations KPIs
- Own cybersecurity strategy and operational execution
- Implement and maintain endpoint protection multi-factor authentication SSO and privileged access management
- Manage vulnerability management and patching processes
- Oversee security compliance with PCI SOC 2 and ITGC and lead audit preparation and remediation
- Monitor security risks lead incident response and coordinate with external MSSP or third parties
- Lead hire and develop the IT and cybersecurity team and define headcount
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
- Prioritize oversee and evaluate IT projects to ensure timely completion
- Monitor industry trends and represent IT at seminars workshops and conferences
