Head of Product
About the Role
You will own the performance, alignment, and strategic coherence of the payments product. You will set product vision and measurable outcomes for payment domains, run product planning and prioritisation, and maintain discovery and delivery standards. You will lead product managers, align with engineering and commercial teams, manage third-party partnerships, and communicate product performance to stakeholders. You will establish metrics, govern public product documentation, and translate customer and market feedback into actionable product initiatives.
Requirements
- 6–10 years in product management with at least 3 years in senior leadership overseeing multiple product teams or domains
- Proven experience in payments acquiring or fintech infrastructure such as PayFac PSP or EMI EMA
- Strong understanding of payment flows merchant onboarding settlements and risk management
- Experience managing white-label or B2B platform products with multiple client integrations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Solid understanding of product analytics and unit economics
- Experience with cross-functional and distributed teams
- Technical background or understanding of API-based payment architectures
- English proficiency B2-C1
Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio planning and manage dependencies to align streams with company OKRs
- Build and maintain a unified product development lifecycle and enforce operational standards
- Define and maintain PRD SRS epics backlog structure and prioritization rules
- Establish metrics collection and reporting frameworks linking product and business outcomes
- Build growth plans run regular 1:1s provide feedback and resolve challenges for product managers
- Design and lead cross-department alignment processes and manage third-party partnerships
- Lead market and competitor discovery collect and translate customer feedback into product insights
- Own and govern public product documentation lifecycle and update cadence
