Head of Public Policy
About the Role
You will develop clear, well-reasoned public policy positions and execute engagement strategies with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders. You will represent the organization to industry associations and coalitions, oversee regulatory applications and regulator interactions, and coordinate policy communications. You will produce white papers, thought leadership pieces, and blog posts, and work closely with senior executives to align policy work with business priorities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working with senior policymakers, regulators and agencies
- In-the-weeds expertise in finance and fintech policy issues
- Ability to work with cross-functional executives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly and communicate them clearly verbally and in writing
- Strategic thinking and excellent execution
Responsibilities
- Develop policy positions on public policy matters
- Engage with policymakers and regulators nationally and internationally
- Represent the company to industry associations and coalitions
- Oversee regulatory applications and interactions with regulators
- Coordinate policy communications with Communications team
- Produce policy content such as white papers and thought pieces
- Collaborate with senior executives to align policy with business strategy
