Information Architect
About the Role
You will own and evolve the enterprise documentation system. You will design documentation structure and hierarchies, create templates and style guides, and implement a docs-as-code pipeline that builds, tests, and deploys documentation alongside software. You will write API references, architectural overviews, and integration guides, audit and update existing content, optimize documentation for discoverability, design visual aids and learning materials, and use Generative AI with human oversight to accelerate content creation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer Information Architect or Business Analyst
- Superior written and spoken English
- Ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to a global audience
- Ability to interview subject matter experts and translate complex technical knowledge into accessible documentation
- Hands-on experience building product documentation from the ground up
- Proficiency in Markdown MDX and Git-based workflows
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals including tokenization distributed ledgers minting and smart contracts
- Experience or strong interest in AI-powered documentation including leveraging LLMs and optimizing documentation for AI-driven search (RAG)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineering and support teams to identify documentation gaps and prioritize content
- Design and manage the structural hierarchy for internal engineering wikis and public-facing documentation
- Create and maintain standardized templates and style guides
- Design and implement a docs-as-code pipeline and integrate documentation into the software development lifecycle
- Lead writing of API references architectural overviews and integration guides
- Audit and update existing documentation to reflect product changes
- Optimize content for discoverability and user needs
- Design visual aids presentations and learning materials to simplify complex technical concepts
- Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate content creation while maintaining human-in-the-loop quality
- Define guidelines for safe and accurate use of AI tools by engineering teams
