About the Role

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or Cybersecurity
• Experience in information security, programming, risk management, or cybersecurity
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, C++, and C#
• Knowledge of information security management frameworks such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27001
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to varied audiences
• Leadership and management capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Conduct regular risk and vulnerability assessments
• Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor and analyze security events and incidents
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Assess and audit networks and IT systems for weaknesses
• Establish security measures to detect, prevent, and mitigate cyber attacks
• Develop and implement incident response protocols
• Craft and maintain disaster recovery plans
• Provide ongoing security training and education to staff
• Inform leadership about network security status
• Develop and present cybersecurity investment proposals to executives
• Collaborate with business units to identify risks and risk management processes
• Analyze and mitigate IT security threats in real time
• Ensure newly acquired technology complies with security regulations
• Plan, design, and implement IT and network security strategy
• Maintain continuous IT network security and perform corrective actions after breaches
