Infrastructure Lead
About the Role
You will lead the infrastructure team with a focus on system security and reliability. You will oversee testing, staging, and production environments, ensure Bitcoin and Layer 2 nodes and backend services remain live and accessible, architect zk-prover systems for varying loads, design dashboards and monitoring, implement load balancing for RPC and explorers, and coordinate security alerts and incident response with the security team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience managing blockchain infrastructure and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Bitcoin and Layer 2 solutions
- Experience architecting or operating zk-prover systems or zero-knowledge proof infrastructure
- Proficiency with monitoring tools and load balancing techniques
- Experience with security monitoring and incident response processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the infrastructure team with focus on security and reliability
- Oversee and maintain testing, staging, and production environments
- Ensure Layer 2 nodes, internally hosted Bitcoin full nodes, sequencers, provers, and backend services are live and accessible
- Architect dynamic systems for the zk-prover for routine and high-demand scenarios
- Implement load balancing for RPC requests and block explorers
- Develop and implement monitoring solutions, performance metrics, and alerting
- Design and maintain dashboards for critical system metrics
- Ensure correctness and security of system upgrade protocols
- Implement monitoring tools and processes as specified by the security team
- Develop and manage security alert systems and notification workflows
- Coordinate incident response and communication with security team and stakeholders
