Infrastructure Lead
About the Role
You will lead the infrastructure team and own the reliability and security of production, staging, and testing environments. You will maintain Bitcoin and Layer 2 node availability, architect scalable zk-prover systems, implement monitoring and alerting, manage upgrades, and coordinate incident response with the security team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience managing blockchain infrastructure and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of Bitcoin and Layer 2 solutions
- Experience with monitoring tools and load balancing techniques
- Experience with security monitoring and incident response processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain infrastructure for testing staging and production
- Ensure high availability of Layer 2 nodes and Bitcoin full nodes
- Architect scalable solutions for zk-prover workloads
- Implement load balancing for RPC requests and block explorers
- Develop and deploy monitoring solutions and performance metrics
- Design and maintain operational dashboards
- Establish and oversee alerting systems
- Coordinate incident response and communicate alerts to stakeholders
- Ensure correctness and security of system upgrade procedures
