International Payroll Lead (Eastern Europe)
About the Role
You will manage all business-as-usual payroll activities and lead payroll projects. You will set up payroll processes, entities, and best practices, prepare and submit payroll data to providers, reconcile payrolls, act as first-line contact for queries, troubleshoot issues end-to-end, and provide cover support as required.
Requirements
- Minimum three years multinational payroll experience
- Solid functional knowledge of payroll processing and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy
- Ownership and problem-solving competencies
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to change
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking to question processes and consider future impact
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
- Additional language skills (nice to have)
- Crypto compensation experience (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to verify collect and organise payroll data before submission
- Prepare payroll data for submission to suppliers across multiple countries
- Liaise with payroll providers on submissions and resolve related queries
- Review and reconcile payroll data within agreed timeframes
- Serve as first-line contact for employee internal partner and vendor payroll queries
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records processes and procedures
- Implement new country payrolls compliantly and efficiently
- Manage transitions between payroll providers
- Troubleshoot take ownership and resolve payroll issues from start to end
- Provide cover support for payroll processes as required
