Investment and Strategic Partnership Associate/Manager
About the Role
You will source and evaluate investment and partnership opportunities in the web3 space, conduct due diligence, and execute deals. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on partnership and incubation projects, conduct research and market analysis on cryptocurrency dynamics, attend industry events to build relationships, and prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business Finance Commerce Economics or related field or equivalent practical experience
- More than 3 years of professional experience in the web3 industry
- Ability to independently identify initiate evaluate and close new investment and partnership opportunities
- Strong self-motivation to expand industry network and maintain professional relationships across the cryptocurrency ecosystem
- Proven problem solving ability and capacity to work autonomously while maintaining high standards of execution in a fast paced environment
- Proactive with good communication and interpersonal skills and a team player
- Strong interest in latest technology such as Blockchain Cryptocurrencies and Artificial Intelligence
Responsibilities
- Drive investment and partnership deal sourcing, due diligence and execution
- Assist execution of partnership and incubation projects and liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties
- Conduct research and analysis to evaluate prospective web3 projects
- Collect intelligence and analyze cryptocurrency market dynamics to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Engage in industry events and professional networks to establish strategic relationships with projects investors exchanges and influencers
- Prepare investment memos management presentations and reports for senior management
