IT Operations Lead
About the Role
You will own and operate the systems that keep a global remote workforce productive and secure. You will design, maintain, and improve core IT systems such as Google Workspace, JAMF, and GCP, and manage device provisioning, access controls, and MDM workflows. You will lead onboarding and offboarding, hardware provisioning, and access management, troubleshoot macOS and networking issues, and administer collaboration tools like Slack, GitHub, and Asana. You will manage VPNs, password management, endpoint security, patching, monitoring, and compliance, maintain accurate inventories, update system documentation, and communicate system health and improvements to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT operations systems administration or technical support
- Comfort supporting macOS environments networking basics and hardware troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and MDM workflows
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-starter able to prioritize diverse workload and manage the IT roadmap independently
- Preferred experience with JAMF BetterCloud 1Password GitHub Slack Asana GCP and HRIS automation tools like Rippling
Responsibilities
- Design maintain and improve core IT systems including Google Workspace JAMF and GCP
- Partner with People and Talent on onboarding and offboarding hardware provisioning and access management
- Manage VPN password management and endpoint security and ensure systems are patched monitored and compliant
- Serve as primary point of contact for IT issues and support teammates via Slack email and video
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories and administer collaboration stack such as Slack GitHub and Asana
- Keep systems documentation up to date and share regular updates on system health risks and improvements
