About the Role

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License
• Up-to-date certifications for role
• 3-5 years of electrical experience
• Extensive experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask
• Computer experience is a plus
• Must pass a motor vehicle check
• Must have own reliable transportation to designated work site
• High-voltage experience is beneficial but not required

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and components including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting
• Repair and maintain electrical systems and components
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure system functionality
• Plan and manage electrical projects including scheduling and budgeting
• Coordinate with other trades and contractors
• Perform work on pad mounted transformers including DGA test preparation and IR scans
• Ensure proper torquing standards are met
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in commercial and industrial settings
• Implement and enforce safety procedures
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations
• Assist with other maintenance needs on site
• Serve as on-call electrician for facilities 24/7
