About the Role

Requirements

• University degree
• 1+ years working in Finance, Crypto, or other analytical/science field
• Prior experience in financial services, crypto, or a related industry
• Analytical mindset and ability to work with large amounts of complex financial data
• Knowledge of blockchain analytics software (Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM)
• Familiarity with AML regulations
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly
• Critical thinking, strong communication skills, and attention to detail
• Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Self-confidence, resilience, and goal focus
• Adhere to applicable Dutch, European, and US laws and company policies
• Knowledge of US/EU Travel Rule requirements and Notabene (preferred)
• Experience using blockchain investigation tools (preferred)
• SQL or other coding background (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Review client transactions and identify red flags for escalation
• Assist in identification and escalation of fraud and other illicit financial activity
• Use blockchain analytics to perform transaction monitoring and analysis
• Ensure appropriate action on escalated accounts and support SAR/UTR reporting
• Identify and escalate issues related to monitoring systems and processes
• Review daily and monthly transaction alerts and conduct due diligence and open source searches
• Support ad-hoc investigative projects and develop procedures
• Contribute to improving analytical and reporting processes
• Keep up to date with crypto trends and emerging illicit financial risks
