Junior Legal Counsel Regulatory (Crypto)
About the Role
You will monitor and analyse regulatory developments in the cryptoassets space, interpret and help implement new regulations (MiCA, DORA, PSD, MiFID2), and provide legal advice on cryptoasset-related products. You will work with product and business teams to ensure compliance, develop internal policies, liaise with regulators, research novel legal questions, and deliver training and legal guidance to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Master of Laws
- Excellent knowledge of European cryptoasset regimes and ideally traditional financial instruments
- 2-3 years of legal experience, preferably in financial services, fintech or technology
- Knowledge of and interest in cryptoassets, blockchain technology and digital finance
- Willingness to understand underlying technical aspects
- Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
- Business acumen and strong business partnership orientation
- Solution-oriented attitude and ability to perform in challenging situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus
- Ability to translate legal and regulatory concepts into practical local business requirements
- Autonomous, adaptive and creative thinker
Responsibilities

- Liaise with regulatory bodies and government agencies
- Research novel legal and regulatory questions and produce legal analyses and recommendations
- Participate in training and educational efforts related to cryptoassets regulations
