LATAM Head Lead Institutional Business Development
About the Role
You will build and manage strategic relationships with enterprises, financial institutions, payment providers, and regulators across Latin America. You will drive market entry and payments infrastructure adoption, negotiate and close strategic deals, serve as the primary liaison with regulators and policy makers, own institutional adoption goals and success metrics, and identify high-impact opportunities to accelerate market position.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development or corporate development in fintech payments or crypto
- Fluent in Spanish; Portuguese a plus
- Strong English communication skills
- Deep established relationships with major enterprises financial institutions payment companies and regulators across LATAM
- Ability to communicate with clarity at the executive level and earn trust with senior decision-makers
- Exceptional ownership self-motivation and initiative to deliver outcomes
- Strong written communication and experience working cross-functionally with remote counterparties in mid to large organizations
- Excellent communicator and storyteller who can move between technical and business contexts
- Direct experience working with central banks regulators or policy makers in LATAM (nice to have)
- Background in stablecoins payments rails or institutional crypto products (nice to have)
- Technical understanding of crypto and payments stacks (nice to have)
Responsibilities

- Negotiate and close strategic deals that bring significant capital and retail adoption
- Serve as the primary liaison between regulators and policy makers
- Own goals and success metrics for institutional adoption and enterprise integration across the region
- Identify and execute on high-impact opportunities that accelerate market position
