Lead InfoSec / IT Engineer
About the Role
You will lead the InfoSec and IT function by designing, implementing, and operating secure device and network systems. You will manage MDM solutions for macOS and Windows, deploy and maintain endpoint protection, monitor networks and devices, and enforce cloud security across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You will define IT lifecycle security processes for onboarding, access control, patching, and offboarding, run incident response and mitigation, implement network security controls such as firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection, and document compliance controls for standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR. You will also automate routine tasks through scripting, mentor staff, and grow the InfoSec/IT capability as needs scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Computer Science or related field
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
- Proven experience setting up IT infrastructure preferably in startup environments
- Hands on experience with MDM solutions such as Jamf and Intune
- Experience with endpoint security tools such as Microsoft Defender and CrowdStrike
- Strong understanding of network security including firewalls VPNs and network monitoring
- Experience with cloud security on AWS Azure or Google Cloud
- Demonstrated ability to build systems from scratch and lead IT InfoSec projects
- Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell Bash or Python
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
