Legal Counsel
About the Role
You will advise on a wide range of internal legal matters including corporate governance, employment and contractor issues, and personnel questions. You will draft, review and negotiate commercial and operational agreements, and assess contract risk for events. You will handle intellectual property, licensing and copyright matters, and advise on data protection and cross-border privacy. You will identify legal risks and propose practical mitigation strategies, manage external counsel when specialised advice is required, and improve legal templates, playbooks and workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience
- Training at a top-tier international law firm
- Experience in corporate and commercial law including employment IP and privacy interfaces
- Qualification in one or more European jurisdictions
- LL.M (US or UK) preferred but not required
- Experience advising in international or cross-border environments
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong judgement professional maturity and ability to work autonomously
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote distributed team
- Willingness to travel occasionally for offsites or conferences
- Web3 or blockchain experience is a plus
