Legal Counsel
About the Role
You will design, build, and implement legal processes and resources to mature the legal function. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and user-facing policies. You will support and advise cross-functional teams on commercial, corporate, employment, intellectual property, privacy, regulatory filings, and licensing matters. You will lead legal operations such as employee visa and immigration administration. You will advise on complex and emerging legal and regulatory issues affecting the cryptocurrency, gaming, and technology sectors in Vietnam and the wider APAC region.
Requirements
- Law degree or equivalent and license to practice law in Vietnam or the APAC region
- Minimum of 5 years of legal practice at a top-tier global law firm or global in-house legal department
- Reside in and be eligible to work in Ho Chi Minh City
- Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English
- Experience advising companies with global business or APAC presence (nice to have)
- Industry experience in cryptocurrency gaming consumer financial services venture capital or technology companies (nice to have)
