Legal Officer
About the Role
You will act as the go-to legal partner across the business, owning commercial contracts end to end and supporting high-impact sales deals. You will draft and negotiate MSAs, NDAs, partner, vendor, and customer agreements, manage enterprise RFP legal components, and advise on FinTech and digital asset regulations. You will support product compliance, internal policies, insurance, and corporate matters, working closely with Sales, Finance, Product, Engineering, and People and reporting to the Head of Finance.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a legal role ideally in FinTech RegTech or Enterprise SaaS
- Confident managing and negotiating B2B and enterprise commercial contracts
- Experience providing pragmatic business-focused advice in complex regulated environments
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales Finance Product and People teams
- Law degree (J.D. or equivalent)
- Experience with Oneflow or other CLM tools (a plus)
- Speaks French (a bonus)
- Willingness to work from the London office 1–2 days per week
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of commercial contracts across UK, FR, and US entities
- Partner with Sales on enterprise and partnership deals from first contract to signature
- Draft and negotiate MSAs NDAs partner vendor and customer agreements
- Own the legal components of enterprise RFPs
- Monitor and advise on FinTech and digital asset regulations such as MiCA GDPR and AML
- Support product compliance internal policies insurance and corporate matters
- Collaborate with Sales Finance Product Engineering and People and report to the Head of Finance
