Legal Operations Manager
About the Role
You will support the day-to-day operations of the legal and compliance function. You will manage legal workflows and documentation, assist with securities law compliance and periodic filings, coordinate with external counsel, manage contract intake, tracking and recordkeeping, maintain corporate and entity records and board materials, support regulatory examinations and audits, help develop internal legal policies and procedures, and implement and manage legal technology tools such as contract management and matter tracking.
Requirements
- Paralegal certificate or JD from an accredited institution
- 2–5 years of legal experience, preferably in a regulated environment
- Experience supporting public company, securities, financial services, or fintech legal functions
- Familiarity with contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in blockchain, digital assets, or financial innovation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support legal and compliance operations across the company, including process management and documentation
- Assist with securities law compliance, including periodic public company filings and regulatory disclosures
- Coordinate with external counsel on corporate, securities, regulatory, and commercial matters
- Manage contract workflows, including intake, tracking, execution, and recordkeeping
- Maintain corporate records, entity management, and board materials
- Support regulatory examinations, audits, and information requests
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal legal and compliance policies and procedures
- Help implement and manage legal technology tools (e.g., contract management, matter tracking)
- Serve as a point of contact for cross-functional teams on legal process questions
