Livestream Host / Live Streamer (Live Commerce Temporary Part-time)
About the Role
You will work onsite in Long Island City to set up products and AV, break collectible cards and mystery items on camera, and present collectibles with high energy. You will engage viewers in real time, promote products, apply platform best practices across live platforms, produce show media, and create post-show reports to improve future streams.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for live commerce and the brand
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
- Passion and expertise in collectibles including Comics, TCGs, Sports Memorabilia, and Cards
- Experience as a creator, live streamer, or card breaker is a plus
- High on-camera energy and strong presentation skills
- Focus on audience growth, engagement, and sales
- Willingness to work onsite in Long Island City and support onboarding/training hours
Responsibilities
- Set up products, video, and audio for broadcasts
- Break collectible cards and mystery items on camera
- Present and explain collectibles with energy and charisma
- Interact with viewers in real time while promoting products
- Receive and apply training about characters and product lines
- Apply knowledge of collectible categories to position products
- Utilize platform best practices for Whatnot, TikTok Live, eBay Live, and Fanatics Live
- Drive sales and engagement metrics through compelling live streams
- Develop post-show reports with takeaways and audience insights
- Use and produce images, videos, thumbnails, and other show assets using personal likeness
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Social, and PR to create promotional content
