Medior Automation QA Engineer
About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain automated tests for Web3 features, focusing on token operations, smart contract interactions, and wallet-driven user experiences. You will own end-to-end automation delivery, improve CI and observability, investigate flaky tests and failures, and collaborate with engineering and product to identify critical scenarios early.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on automation experience
- Experience with modern JavaScript tooling; Playwright and TypeScript preferred
- Availability to reliably overlap core working hours 2pm–5pm CET
- Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers and environments
Responsibilities
- Own automation test delivery for full features including coverage strategy, execution, and quality checkpoints
- Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript across browsers, environments, and wallet states
- Design and expand automation coverage for Web3 flows including wallet connection and signing
- Test token management flows including airdrops, vesting, and staking
- Test transaction lifecycle and blockchain confirmations
- Improve automation architecture and CI workflows for performance, stability, and observability
- Investigate and resolve flaky tests, CI failures, and environment issues
- Collaborate with engineering and product to identify critical test scenarios early
