About the Role
You will identify and screen acquisition and investment targets, build and maintain complex financial models, and perform valuation and sensitivity analyses. You will conduct thorough due diligence, synthesize market and competitive research, prepare investment memos and presentations, and manage transactions through negotiation and closing. You will coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess strategic fit and integration requirements, streamline M&A processes, and adopt AI tools to improve analysis and execution.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or private equity with M&A transaction experience
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proven track record executing M&A transactions
- Deep understanding of crypto and blockchain industry
- Knowledge of GAAP and company financial reporting
- Familiarity with debt and equity structures and capital markets
- Ability to conduct market research synthesize complex information and identify trends
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience using AI-based solutions and analytical tools
Responsibilities
- Identify and screen potential acquisition and investment targets
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for valuation and sensitivity analysis
- Perform valuation analysis using DCF precedent transactions and market multiples
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence including financial statement analysis and market research
- Manage all stages of the transaction process from diligence through negotiation and closing
- Prepare and present investment memos and presentations to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess strategic fit and integration needs
- Develop and manage internal M&A processes and communication workflows
- Synthesize market data and industry research into actionable insights
- Leverage AI-based tools to enhance research analysis and transaction efficiency
