Member of Technical Staff, Hardware Security Modules
About the Role
You will develop and maintain secure low-level software that powers Hardware Security Module integrations. You will design and refactor libraries and APIs used by other engineers, implement and validate cryptographic primitives and code signing, and harden kernel and embedded components. You will review security-critical code, build deterministic tests and infrastructure, break down large projects into deliverable tasks, and mentor others to improve security and code quality. You will communicate trade-offs clearly and drive features from design through production.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C and C++
- Experience with secure low-level programming and secure coding practices
- Kernel development or hardening experience and/or embedded systems experience
- Deep understanding of cryptography including RSA, ECDSA, and BLS
- Experience with code signing, network security, authentication, and authorization
- Experience shipping production products and implementing secure frameworks or libraries
- Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) preferred
- Strong experience with testing infrastructure and maintaining code quality
