Member of Technical Staff Platform
About the Role
In this role you will design and implement the next generation of CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security, speed, and reliability. You will maintain and optimize the monorepo to ensure scalable dependency management and fast incremental builds. You will architect secure, scalable runtime environments on GCP, build local and remote test infrastructure including ephemeral environments, and measure and improve developer experience using DORA metrics. You will monitor and optimize cloud and build fleet costs, identify friction in developer workflows and automate them away, and work with external partners and internal engineering and security teams to deliver secure cloud infrastructure solutions. You will also advocate best practices across CI and developer experience.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills and automation
- Experience with a major cloud provider, ideally GCP or AWS
- Experience building complex and performant CI/CD systems
- Experience with build toolchains such as Bazel or Gradle
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
