Member of Trading Operations
About the Role
You will support clients in their daily activities related to post-trade processing. You will ensure timely settlements and reconciliations across spot, lending, and derivatives flows. You will monitor outstanding settlements, perform cash positioning and inventory management, reconcile activity across internal ledgers and external systems, escalate and resolve breaks with stakeholders, use blockchain explorers and trading platforms to investigate issues, and work with engineering and product to improve workflows and controls.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience supporting settlement activities of institutional clients in traditional and crypto assets
- Experience with and understanding of crypto-native institutions
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- Knowledge of financial operations and risk management
- Strong technical skills and ability to handle complex tasks
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Support clients' post-trade lifecycle
- Manage counterparty and client settlement requests within SLAs
- Process spot lending and derivatives operations accurately and timely
- Reconcile activity across internal ledgers and external systems
- Monitor and manage outstanding settlements
- Perform cash positioning and inventory management
- Collaborate with accounting and finance to resolve breaks
- Use blockchain explorers and trading platforms to investigate transactions
