Mid-Market Account Executive
About the Role
You will drive new business acquisition and expand accounts within the commercial and mid-market segments. You will own the full sales cycle — prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close — while managing a high volume of opportunities and maintaining accurate forecasts. You will perform targeted outbound prospecting, run discovery calls to uncover customer pain points, present solution demos, and negotiate terms to close deals. You will keep your CRM up to date, maintain pipeline coverage, and collaborate with Product and Marketing to refine messaging. You may occasionally travel to the Vancouver office for planning and collaboration.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience in a closing role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience with deal sizes from 10000 to 80000 CAD ARR
- Sales cycles of approximately 30 to 90 days
- Interest or experience in geospatial or drone industry preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate technical concepts
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, SPICED, or Sandler
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce), sales engagement platforms, and Google Meet
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills
