Mobile Engineer iOS and Android
About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android. You will optimize app performance, ensure robust security and memory management, and implement reliable communication with back-end APIs. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and ship features, troubleshoot and upgrade existing apps, and help implement mobile CI/CD and deployment processes. You will also mentor others and act as a thought leader on mobile product excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in native mobile development
- Professional experience with native iOS development (Swift or Objective-C)
- Professional experience with native Android development (Kotlin or Java)
- Proficiency with state management threading and architectural patterns (MVVM MVI Clean Architecture)
- Solid understanding of mobile security best practices performance optimization and memory management
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to independently formulate and test hypotheses
- Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Experience at banking-as-a-service brokerage-as-a-service or payment-as-a-service businesses (preferred)
- Library development experience (preferred)
- Experience with digital assets (preferred)
- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter (plus)
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks unit integration and UI testing (preferred)
