Network Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)
About the Role
You will design implement and maintain the infrastructure that powers an AI-driven platform. You will deploy physical infrastructure at data centres, configure networks, servers, switches and firewalls, and ensure systems are scalable secure and reliable. You will troubleshoot infrastructure issues, automate deployments with infrastructure as code, work with cloud networking and container orchestration, and monitor performance using modern logging and monitoring tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing networks and maintaining physical infrastructure
- Deep understanding of routers switches and server connectivity
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform Ansible or similar
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS GCP or Azure including networking security and automation
- Proficiency in containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK
- Strong problem-solving skills with focus on performance optimisation and automation
Responsibilities
- Oversee design configuration and deployment of networks servers switches systems firewalls and applications
- Configure servers with virtualization and troubleshoot application issues
- Maintain servers networks and infrastructure components to ensure uptime and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
- Configure network components including switches routers firewalls and VPNs
- Monitor system performance and implement solutions to enhance reliability security and scalability
- Integrate DevOps best practices into the development lifecycle
- Ensure systems are secure and compliant with industry standards
