Office Manager

About the Role

You will ensure the San Francisco office runs smoothly by managing daily operations, supplies, and facilities. You will greet and assist visitors, handle incoming communications, and coordinate mail and packages. You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate service agreements, and oversee office budgets. You will develop and maintain health and safety procedures and support event logistics, catering, and onsite gatherings. You will organize space planning, coordinate moves, and create systems that keep the workplace efficient and welcoming.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an office manager, workplace experience manager, or similar role
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff at all levels including executives
  • Strong understanding of operational and facilities practices
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports
  • Experience resolving operational issues successfully
  • Requires daily on site presence

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and kitchen essentials
  • Optimize office space through space planning and floor moves
  • Greet and assist visitors and manage front desk communications
  • Coordinate vendors and manage vendor relations
  • Negotiate contracts and manage office service agreements
  • Maintain facilities including maintenance, repairs, and furnishings
  • Develop and implement health and safety procedures
  • Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and onsite gatherings
  • Manage food and beverage offerings and catering logistics
