Paralegal

About the Role

You will support a small, globally distributed legal team on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. You will review and negotiate NDAs, vendor agreements, MSAs, SOWs and other commercial contracts; prepare board packs, resolutions and shareholders approvals; manage filing, archiving and company secretarial tasks; respond to due diligence questionnaires and KYC requests; maintain cap table and equity platform records; assist with non-UK subsidiary filings; manage document execution and electronic signatures; support IP and trademark maintenance and enforcement; help with regulatory compliance and contract management; and oversee administrative duties including the legal query inbox.

Requirements

  • Prior professional Paralegal experience in-house or at a law firm
  • Legal qualification
  • Ability to provide practical pragmatic feedback to business stakeholders
  • Awareness of developments in relevant law and regulation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective written and oral communication
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with document and contract management systems (e.g. Ironclad)
  • Experience with cap table management systems (e.g. Carta Ledgy)
  • Experience with entity management platforms (e.g. Diligent)
  • Experience with DocuSign and electronic signature workflows
  • Willingness to tackle ambiguous issues and problem-solve creatively
  • Knowledge of GDPR the Data Protection Act and the e-Privacy Directive

Responsibilities

  • Manage contract storage and document management systems
  • Provide administrative support and oversee the legal query inbox
