Paralegal
About the Role
You will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer and legal team to handle a wide range of in-house legal tasks. You will draft, review, and revise contracts and assist with compliance and regulatory matters. You will support corporate governance by preparing Board materials and resolutions, conduct legal research and prepare internal memos and policy documents, participate in meetings with external counsel on tax and corporate structuring, and provide administrative support including travel and schedule management. Expect to assist with ad hoc legal and administrative matters that arise in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements
- Prior in-house or law firm paralegal experience
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Professionalism and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Interest in corporate, transactional, or crypto-related law
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise contracts including NDAs and service agreements
- Serve as legal liaison across departments to support day-to-day legal and compliance needs
- Participate in meetings with external counsel on tax strategy, corporate structuring, and international operations
- Support compliance and policy initiatives
- Conduct legal research and prepare internal memos, compliance documentation, and policy drafts
- Draft resolutions and prepare Board meeting materials including agendas and minutes
- Provide administrative support for the Chief Legal Officer including travel and schedule management
- Assist with other legal and administrative matters as they arise
