Payroll Operations Specialist
About the Role
You will review and reconcile payroll reports and payslips, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and verify payroll adjustments, deductions, and tax withholdings. You will upload payslips and payroll data into internal and external databases, maintain and update payroll records, and ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and company policies. You will identify opportunities to optimize reconciliation and data entry processes, assist in payroll audits and reporting, and maintain confidentiality and data security when handling sensitive payroll information.
Requirements
- 2+ years in payroll operations finance or a related field
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workday or SAP
- Experience with databases and Excel including VLOOKUP Pivot Tables and Macros
- Experience with reconciliation tools
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze and reconcile large volumes of payroll data
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve payroll discrepancies
- Clear professional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information
- Experience with global payroll providers or multi-country payroll processing (preferred)
- Familiarity with tax regulations compliance requirements and employment laws related to payroll (preferred)
- Background in finance accounting or HR operations (preferred)
