Premium Cash Officer
About the Role
You will manage the premium agency, supervise staff and materials, and guide Premium Cash Assistants. You will handle cash movements between Safe and PCA accounts, perform end-of-day bill counting and produce statements, record cash transactions in the treasury system, request funds to rebalance agents, coordinate with cash-in-transit companies, report discrepancies and counterfeit bills, secure office assets, and escalate feedback that impacts agency activity.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as a cashier in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, cash handling, or delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in French
- Previous experience in front-office customer service or in the banking sector
- Be vigilant, detail-oriented, and have strong integrity
- Work authorization in Burkina Faso
- Knowledge of Wave products is an added value
- Speaking English and a local language (Moore, Dioula) is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Manage cash in and out between the Safe and PCA accounts
- Hold end-of-day bill counting and produce a daily bill counting statement
- Ensure cash management transactions are correctly recorded in the treasury system
- Promptly request sufficient funds to ensure rebalance with agents and clients
- Coordinate transactions with cash-in-transit companies
- Report discrepancies or challenges encountered by Premium Cash Assistants
- Report counterfeit bills to management
- Ensure furniture and materials are in good use and the office is well secured
- Manage and escalate relevant feedback that may impact the agency's activity
- Guide and support Premium Cash Assistants
- Manage conflicts in the outlet
