Premium Cash Officer
About the Role
You will maintain cash balances and manage cash disbursements between safes and agencies. You will handle daily bank transactions, support agents and clients with liquidity needs, perform end-of-day bill counting and produce statements, record transactions accurately in the treasury system, coordinate with cash-in-transit providers, report discrepancies and counterfeit bills, ensure office materials are secure and well used, and escalate relevant feedback that may impact agency activity. You may travel to upcountry as needed.
Requirements
- Work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire
- Strong proficiency in French; English is an advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, cash handling or a similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, banking, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Manage cash in and out between the safe and the agency
- Assist agents with liquidity needs including deposits and withdrawals
- Support agents and clients with account setup, app and card usage
- Perform end-of-day bill counting and produce a daily bill counting statement
- Record all cash management transactions accurately in the treasury system
- Request funds promptly to rebalance agent cash positions
- Coordinate transactions with cash-in-transit companies
- Report discrepancies, challenges, and counterfeit bills to management
- Ensure furniture and materials are properly used and premises are secured
- Escalate feedback that may impact agency activity
